Sleep No More – writing the night on the skin

Sleep No More – the story of a fragrance that comes to life in the shadows

Some perfumes are born not from an idea, but from an emotion that washes over you and never lets go. Sleep No More is one of those. Before it was a fragrance, it was a memory: that of a show experienced in New York, where you move forward in the darkness, heart pounding, torn between apprehension and excitement.

I wanted to capture that precise moment, that thrill that precedes the unknown, and translate it into a perfume.

A departure that shakes things up, like a first step into the night

The creation was built around a rum and spice accord that hits you from the very first seconds. It's a deliberately intense, almost electric opening, designed to evoke the mix of adrenaline and vertigo one feels before a new experience.

Then, the fragrance glides gently towards a denser heart, carried by a dark and textured cocoa absolute, which gives warmth and a roasted touch to the fragrance.

A background that settles in, intimate like a second skin

In the base, sandalwood absolute diffuses a woody, enveloping sweetness that contrasts with the intensity of the opening. Pyrogenized styrax , with its smoky and resinous facets, adds a discreet, leathery, almost animalic shadow. Together, they leave something alive on the skin, something that doesn't seek to dominate but rather to be felt up close, like a presence.

Why I created it

Sleep No More wasn't designed to appeal to everyone. I created it to convey an emotion, a memory that's very precious to me. If you like fragrances that evolve on the skin like an intimate story, then this one might resonate with you.
